Faith to step out (New direction for KP)

Hi to all the fam of Christ, just want to update you on where God is taking me in 2010. For years now I have had a great passion for worship and writing songs but have not felt to do anything with it. Throughout that time I became quite discouraged because I knew that it was a God desire and passion that I had but I couldn't understand why I couldn't use it, until now. Over the past 2 months God has been revealing to me why he didn't want me do anything with this gift and desire at that time, and it was because I wasn't ready. I had the desire and gift but not the true understanding of why I was doing it and what happened when I did it with the right heart and reason. Worship is the most powerful tool we have, Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say rejoice. So there is no room for misunderstanding there, it doesn't say rejoice in the Lord only when things are good, so if it says always then obviously we have an amazing power within us that helps us to worship in all circumstances. Satan is here to steal, kill and destroy, and if he can steal the desire of praise and worship from us then he steals our greatest defense weapon. Also when we worship, things happen in the spiritual realm that we cannot possibly begin to imagine, that's why the Bible instructs us to worship in Spirit and in Truth. I needed to understand these things before God lead me any further. I also needed to learn to be humble, pride is one of the biggest traps, especially in an industry that is so commercial, it is easy to become a fan of the person instead of the message being brought through the person, and I was at that time very keen for people to become a fan of me instead of the God in me. These are very important lessons to learn before stepping out I believe.

So now is the time, time for me to step out believing that God is leading and opening the doors he wants me to enter. It is just another picture of how wonderful our Father is, he doesn't give us anything we cannot handle and is always by our side in times of trouble or need. I am so grateful for all he has done, is doing, and will continue to do. Forever may the praise be to our Father in Heaven. So please support me with your prayers as I continue to walk with the lord through this new chapter.
