The Glory Of God's Children

O' afflicted city, lashed by storms and not comforted, I will build you with stones of turquoise, your foundations with sapphires. I will make your battlements of rubies, your gates of sparkling jewels, and all your walls of precious stones. All your sons will be taught by the lord, and great will be your children's peace. In righteousness you will be established; tyranny (oppression) will be far from you; you will have nothing to fear. Terror will be far removed; it will not come near you. If anyone does attack you, it will not be my doing; whoever attacks you will surrender to you.

"See it is I who created the blacksmith who fans the coals to flame and forges a weapon fit for it's work. And it is I who have created the destroyer to work havoc; no weapon formed against you will prevail, and you will refute every tong that accuses you. this is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from me."

God is amazing, these scriptures give us a great picture of what we mean to our Father, it was during our bible study last night these scriptures were bought to my attention, and they hold such power in them that i wanted to share. For any who have children, the big wonder for us is what are our children gonna be like when they get older, and for me it is quite scary but in this passage it's clearly explains that it is God who is teaching my sons, yes he chose me to give birth and raise them but we have made the declaration that "as for us and our home we will serve the lord, and he is our teacher, so it's not my burden to carry. Does it say that they won't make mistakes? NO just like the rest of us they will need guiding and some lessons they will learn the hard way but God has them in his hands as he does all of us.

The second part he is clearly telling us that yes there is an enemy out there, he even made him to cause havoc, but nothing that he throws at us can prosper, no words of discouragement, or sickness, no tricks, no lies, there is nothing he can do. In my words he is simply here to help us grow in faith (not that he see's it like that), cos every time he comes at us we are gonna see our father deliver us, and so it's just going to cause us to grown closer to our father.

We cannot deny that life is challenging at times, and it would be silly to pretend any different, Jesus was all very much in the real world and experienced real hard times, however he had it planted in his heart that His God was good, he knew the heart of his Father, and that's our job also, to get into the word and seek to know the heart of our Father,The word says “Perfect love casts our fear” 1Jn 4:18 the only way to know that for sure is to know the one who said it.
