What Are We Here For?

What are we here for? Here at CRHH, not HERE, as in life. (I might approach that at a later date. Hehe.)

I've looked around the digital universe and came across a few Christian social networking sites. Some are ok. Some aren't. Some are clean enough for a Christian to socialize on; others aren't.

So again, I ask, what are we here for?

I came across this site quite by accident. I wanted to finally delve into online socializing. Share a thought or two. Meet a "real" Christian from another state, country, etc. You know, experience God's Love on another platform. It's been a blessing. So far I've actually spoken with a member on the phone. He actually called a few times and we finally got a chance to kick it. I also spoke with two members via Skype. (They even got a chance to see what I look like with the webcam.)

I've been honored by those blessings our Lord has allowed to come to pass. But I'm looking for more this year. Let me tell you what I'm looking for this year.

More blogs from more writers.
More forums.
More video uploads.
More music uploads.
More socializing.

I see artist joining, seeking marketing opportunities. There's nothing wrong with this, but let's share more than just images, videos and audios.

This site is amazingly clean, so far. That's a blessing. I expect it'll stay this way, also. But we should focus on expressing how our Lord has given us so much. We should focus a little more on the blessings and testify, like K.P. Light and Claude do.

I'm just saying, if we don't use this platform to express God's undying Love for us (by way of our gifts and testimonies), then: What are we here for?

I look at this community as a ministry, to glorify our Mighty God, and I can tell that that's Insights vision for this site and Heaven's Disciples. God has given us gifts. These gifts are supposed to bring Glory to Him and enlighten us on how to further the Kingdom. As a result, we'll receive financial anointing, as well spiritual advancement. I'm not saying don't use this platform to showcase our gifts, but we should also share in the testimonies of our faith as edification for one another. GB

This is a place where we teach and learn at the same time, where we encourage and uphold each other, where we help our fellow Brother's and Sister's in Christ. I have seen for myself people come here for the wrong reasons, and all I can say to those people is, It is not our place to judge, but God is awesome and powerful and knows everything about us and even if we don't see that we may be doing that,we must ask God to search our heart and show us of any wrong motives, that we may then repent and change our ways as we all need to do in one way or another. We are here to bless before being blessed, so allow God to bless you in his way and his time and let us focus on being a blessing.
