This is a subject that has recently been on my mind, and i feel that i need to speak about it, now i don't have all the biblical reference right now but i feel to speak this out anyway as I know you'll know the scriptures..
Who are we to judge what God has already forgiven?
I'm not talking about non Christians here i'm talking about God's kids, us believers. how many of you know someone, or have a close relative who is saved but still does things that cause you to question their revelation of God? Well I do, this person is close to me, but i see in their attitude, behavior, speech that their revelation of who Christ is has not penetrated their heart. I see that she has a heart to serve God and a will to do as God wants but is stuck somewhere in between and is still living as a victim instead as a victor, still trying to justify herself, It breaks my heart the see the enemy has a hold or is blocking her vision.
The bible says "we have been justified" so why do people need to justify their actions?
The bible says "we have been forgiven" so why do we still treat them as sinners?
The bible says "we have been restored" so why do we still treat them like the "old unrestored person"
When God chose us he knew already every decision we would ever make, every mistake we would ever make, how many people we would hurt but he still gave his son to take the lot of it and then be punished for it so that we might be set free. God's grace is sufficient for us all, and we need to recognize this for others also and let the Love of Christ and all he has done shine through us so that these people in our lives may see just how free we can truly be in Christ.
I encourage us all to think about the people in our lives that may still live like this and begin to really pray that the blindfold be removed, that freedom truly starts flowing and that what Christ did becomes a true revelation to them, that they may walk in the Freedom of Redemption, Justification, Forgiveness and Love.
Bless you all
